Grooming Terms & Conditions

 

Please ensure that your dog(s) don't have fleas before booking with Buzzpup. If your dog(s) has fleas you will be charged £10 extra or your dog may be sent home & you will be charged for the full appointment.

Please toilet your dog before their appointment. If your dog goes to toilet and gets messy after a bath Buzzpup will not be responsible for rebathing your dog(s).

Please arrive on time to your appointment. Arriving up to 15 minutes late to your appointment means we will have to reschedule and you may be charged in full for the missed appointment.

​

Be respectful of our neighbours. Do not park in driveways, blocking or blocking road access. Do not let your dog go on or toilet on a neighbours property. Clean up if your dog toilets in the street.

Please collect at time given. Arriving 15 minutes late will result in a £5 charge and an addition £5 for every 15 minutes after until collection.

Buzzpup require 48 hours notice to cancel an appointment. Failure to do so could result in you having to pay 50% off the grooming cost.

​

Cancellations made with 24 hours or less notice will incur 100% of the grooming cost.

​

​

No shows without contacting me will incur 100% of the grooming cost.

​

​

You are required to complete a registration form before or on the first visit. The owner is responsible for make sure all information is kept up-to-date.

Buzzpup will not share your details with any other organisation, however you will be added to our mailing list to keep you informed via phone, text and/or email. Please let us know if you wish to be removed from the mailing list.

We regularly take photos or videos of dogs during their groom for use on our website and social media pages. You must let us know if you do not wish for us to use images of your dog to promote our services.

Buzzpup are fully trained in animal first-aid. It is important at the time of booking, or at the time of your appointment if changed since booking, to let us know of any illnesses or health issues including allergies. Providing that your dogs illness is not likely to affect or contaminate other dogs or humans we are happy to continue grooming, however this is done entirely at the owners risk.

Grooming may expose underlying skin or health problems for which Buzzpup will not be held liable for.

Elderly dogs will be accepted or grooming, however this is done entirely at the owners risk.

​

​

If a dog becomes seriously ill whilst in our care we may contact an emergency vet and unless it can be clearly shown it is Buzzpup that is liable, all vet bills incurred shall be at the owners expense.

We may refuse to groom any dog without having to give a reason.

​

​

Dogs with extremely matted fur will incur additional charges. We will discuss this prior to the groom.

If we believe that de-matting a dog will cause too much stress or discomfort we will recommend your dog receives a full shave off in accordance to the Animal Welfare Act. This will of course dramatically change your dogs appearance and you should be aware that skin irritation may occur. It is also possible that your dogs skin may get caught due to the close proximity of the clipper blade, Buzzpup will not be held liable should this happen.

Buzzpup shall not be held liable for any effects of de-matting or clipping procedures uncovered by a badly matted and/or neglected coat. The owner will be required to cover all costs whether or not the groomer is able to complete the job due to any unforeseen issue arising during this process.
